May 14 The blessingToday, I would like to introduce you one of the current gospel singer I knew, Steven Curtis Chapman, whose song-"The Blessing"-is really touch me.
Chapman and his wife made their first trip to Southeast Asia several years ago and very impressed with the people their met. As a consequence, the Chapmans adopted chinese daughters. After that, he wrote this song to give a priceless gift of blessing to other people as a return to place and also the people who had given much to them.
I'm not the one who usually listen to the gospel or religious song. But, for this one, let it be the exception.
The Blessing
Steven Curtis Chapman
Musical Blessing
Let's not say another word
We don't need to question why
let's us pass through this moment
Like a candle in the night
We don't need to wave goodbye
This is not the final song
Eventhough in our sadness
Tears may fall*
*Take my smile, hold it in your heart
And I will be with you wherever you may go**/***
**How much pain must we teste
How much sorrow must we know
Will we only learn in losing
How to cherish what we hold
But our love is like the wind
We can't hold it in ours hands
In the light of the new day we will understand, So*
***May the road rise to meet you on your way
May the sun
And until journy brings us back together
May God hold you in the centre of his hand+
+May the road rise to meet you on your way
May the sun
And until journy brings us back together May God hold you in his hand***
Many thanks to my friend, Nita, for the CD Comments (2)
